Answer
This issue is an operational matter for the Housing Executive.
I have sought the requested information from the Chief Executive, who has advised me as follows:
“The Housing Executive local office are aware of flooding which affected a small number of Housing Executive properties in Dunwellan Park from 31/10/2023 - 1/11/2023.
These properties appear on the Housing Executive’s flood risk register. The Housing Executive through our response maintenance contractor provided sandbags for a number of properties and subsequent repairs (dehumidifiers / boiler checks for flooded boiler etc).
In relation to point (ii) of this question, this is an operational matter for the Housing Executive and the member should submit a request directly with the Housing Executive asking them to provide any records they may hold in relation to this incident.”
