Sport NI have confirmed the following:-
“It advised National Governing Bodies that a performance review would take place within the first six months of investment (April–October 2026). As a result, only a six-month funding commitment was provided in April 2026, with indicative allocations to be confirmed following the review.
“The review involved a survey and data collection exercise with National Governing Bodies. Following analysis of the information received, Sport NI presented a proposal to the Sport NI Board, which was approved on 9 September.
“The final information is being completed, and Sport NI will now engage with Governing Bodies, that will include issuing Letters of Offer in the coming
weeks.”
